Your Excellency,
Foreign Office, June 14, 1910. I HAVE the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your note of the 8th instant, giving a list of the countries which have declared their intention of sending delegates to the proposed Opium Conference to be held at The Hague, and expressing the hope that His Majesty's Government are prepared to accept the American proposal.
I have the honour to state that the departments of His Majesty's Government concerned are being pressed for an answer, and that a reply will be sent as soon as possible to the invitation of the United States Government.
